" So - I am stuck in corporate housing in Pentagon City which is slowly killing my soul. But at least my nails look great in the interim. I have been here (at Modern Nails) 4 times in the past couple of months. A couple of times I got a regular manicure and my nails looked great. The last two times I got the no-chip "shellac" manicure. I was very skeptical because my nails get damaged so easily. So, I assumed my nails would be frail when the first one came off. Especially after soaking in acetone. But the woman who helped me was gentle in taking off the no-chip and cleaning my nails so there was no damage. And I got another no-chip manicure this time too. My nails look great and they really don't chip which is amazing. Yes, it costs more but it also lasts two weeks so I don't need as many manicures. They have always been pleasant and they do a good job. The utensils are clean each time and the place overall seems pretty good. And they did such a great job on the no-chip that I am now a devotee! "
